Residents and school children enjoying some gardening

Thank you to Brecon Rotary Club for the Crocus bulbs they donated to Trenewydd. Residents and local school Children from Llanfaes School enjoyed planting these and we look forward to seeing the bulbs open in spring.

The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary’s worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with its colour representing the purple dye used to mark the finger of a child who has been immunised. Thank you to everyone involved.

Also a big thank you to the children for entertaining everyone with their fabulous singing.

Share the excitement!
