Trenewydd residents and staff are overjoyed by Christmas spirit following two recent, outstanding acts of kindness.

Having advertised that they were holding a raffle to raise money for a wooden quoits game and bowling set, a kind local, Joe Cannon, purchased both sets and donated them to the home. The residents are discussing what is next on their wishlist for any monies raised at their annual Christmas Party raffle.

A family have generously donated a specialist wheelchair to the home, in memory of their much loved and missed mum and mother-in-law Dorothy Davies. Dorothy is thought of fondly by everyone who ever met her and will always have a special place in the hearts of Trenewydd staff and residents. The chair will provide comfort and safety to the residents who need it most. Angela was particularly happy to test it out. Thank you from everyone at Trenewydd.

Whether it's beanbags or bingo, a friendly competition is great for morale. Trenewydd residents support, encourage and celebrate each other throughout all tasks, no matter how big or small the challenge, they enjoy winning but equally enjoy watching their friends win. The prize basket has been busy.
