A lovely day celebrating our staff long service awards. Service users were presented with a certificate of recognition which they were thrilled with. We also enjoyed some fabulous entertainment!

Britney Marshall is our Employee of the Month for October.

For stepping up and taking the activity reigns to ensure that the weekly activities and Halloween celebrations were a success for everyone. Thank you so much Britney for planning and organising everything so quickly everyone still had a great time, your fruit punch was definitely a desired taste!

Residents and the team enjoyed a boat trip with The Willow Trust, where they could have a go at steering the boat. Everyone had so much fun!

Residents at Springbank got to meet George a British Bulldog, we all loved him!

Nnamdi Okpala has made a very positive impact with his flexibility and commitment to Springbank, he is happy to step in and assist at short notice and he is kind and very supportive of everyone.

What better to do in this hot weather than have a water fight! It definitely cooled us all down. 

Service users Jean Ward and Rob Harris had a great day out at The Bristol Zoo project. They did a walk through with the Lemurs in their natural habitat and the Meerkats wanted to say hi to Jean! They also got to see a lot of other animals too. 

We also had a Motivational Monday where employees and service users created positive quotes for each other. 

Stuart Saunders is the most committed when it comes to improvements or repairs. No sooner he is asked, it’s done to a great standard. Being cheerful and flexible, he is an asset to our home!

Celebrating our lovely Margaret Bennett's 86th Birthday by going to see Barbie at the cinema, an old childhood favourite. Margaret is also celebrating 23 years at Springbank.

Springbank Residents Sally and Margaret went on Holiday to Butlins in Minehead!

Both had a wonderful time, enjoying Milkshake's, watching the Circus performers and a game of Bingo!

We had our FSA un-announced inspection on Saturday and we maintained our 5 star food hygiene rating! Ramil Tagudin and Claire Moffat posing by the sign.

One of our residents Sally Turner has been raising money for the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund and she has raised £46.00. One of our ladies Vivienne won half of the money (£23.00) and the other half goes to the charity.

Springbank has donated a Rompa 3D underwater scene to the local nursery in Brentry. Staff at the Once upon time Purple childcare said “This is so kind and it will make a lot of children very happy”. Mr Eddy, a former service user absolutely loved to see children having fun, as he also enjoyed the underwater scene for many years. This was donated in his loving memory to this nursery.

Our Employee of the month for June goes to Amy Walker for going above and beyond. Well done Amy!

Residents, family and staff all enjoyed a Coronation tea party! We even had a visit from the D Day Dollies from Mini Concerts.

As we were looking through memories we found this lovely photo of service user Robert Knights during The Queen's coronation back in 1953. How time flies!

Our Resident Sally helped raise money for Brain Tumour research by having a Wear a Hat Day event.

Residents at Springbank enjoyed some love songs to celebrate Valentine’s Day and met a new friend called Molly who they absolutely loved! Curtesy of mini concerts Ltd.

Employees and residents making lanterns, colouring pictures, and doing a Chinese word search that turned into a competition of teams trying to see who could finish first. Not forgetting our cook Ramil who made some traditional Chinese food, which everyone enjoyed. Very tasty!

Residents and employees thoroughly enjoyed Aladdin which was put on by Tickled Pink Productions Ltd. 

Springbank Christmas party. We had a visit from Santa and a dance off between Kay the Monkey, Andrea as Baby shark, Sarah the Turkey, Samiya the cracker and George the Elf. Everyone had so much fun.

Springbank residents have had fun recently. We did a Christmas Bake off, even Paul Hollywood gave out the prize for the star baker! We have also been to Winter Wonderland and had such a fun time ice skating. Finally we made some Christmas Gonk's, aren't they cute!

A wonderful day today celebrating long serving employees at Springbank in Bristol. In attendance too was our new Chairman Simon MacSorley and CEO Russell Brown, such a special morning. 

Springbank residential home has been awarded the ‘Champion Service’ award at Shaw healthcare’s annual Shaw Star Awards for its consistently high levels of care.

This summer Springbank welcomed teenager Brendon Taylor, from Henbury academy to support his chosen work experience placement in care.  

Springbank has received another 'Thank You' certificate from Lennox children's cancer fund.
