Here at Shaw we understand that some care needs require specialist expertise to ensure that the best possible care is given.
We have a range of services that can make sure we deliver exactly the right type of care for the situation. We strive to make sure that all your needs are catered for and that we offer the right service for the right requirements.
NHS Services – We provide care and treatment for individuals to prevent them having to be admitted to hospital or we can offer care right up until the point of admittance to free up limited hospital beds.
Secure Hospitals – Here we offer person centred care and treatment programmes to people who have a primary diagnosis of mental illness, with or without a physical disability including patients who might have committed a criminal act due to their illness.
Intermediate Care – Following an admittance to hospital, care is provided between the point of of hospital treatment and discharge, to free up hospital beds whilst making sure first class care is received to facilitate recovery.
Complex Care – Specialist care is needed for those with complex care needs. Our service is aimed at providing specific care and treatment programmed, individually tailored for those who have a dual diagnosis of learning and/or physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviour and a variety of other complex conditions.
Re-ablement – We understand that most older people want to stay in their own homes as long as possible. This service is aimed at helping older people recover the confidence, strength and skills to return to their own home after a traumatic event, that might otherwise have resulted in them giving up their independence and moving permanently into a care home.
