Forest View has hosted an employee celebration to show they’re thanks to their staff and recognise a combined total of 313 years of service.

Deputy Mayor, Janice Hanwood  and Cllr Stuart Condie were some of the guests who gathered at Forest View care home to thank staff for their hard work and commitment to the service and presented them with a certificate and chocolates.

The celebrations which included a buffet lunch marked the long-service achievement of its service manager, Karen Russell who has worked for Shaw healthcare for 18 years.

Karen said: “It has been a lovey day and I’m so pleased my team have been recognised for their dedication to the home and the residents here.”

Also, in attendance was Chief Operating Officer of Shaw healthcare, Mike Smith, who thanked staff personally.

Forest View care home located provides residential care up to 60 elderly people including those living with dementia.
