Maitland Park

Students from Holy Trinity & St Silas in Camden came to sing with residents and families today at Maitland Park.

A lovely little snippet in the Camden paper, highlighting the wonderful event that took place following our 10th birthday.

The care home along with Gospel Oak Extra Care, marked the milestone with drinks, a celebratory cake and a buffet with entertainment from local singer, Chirag who belted out hits from the 50s.

Staff, residents and their family members were joined by The Mayor of Camden, Nazma Rahman, Councillor, Head of Adult Commissioning for Camden, Theresa Collier, Local Councillor, Cllr kemi Atolagbe as well as Chair of Adult Health Scrutiny Committee, Councillor Lorraine Revah. Guests form Shaw healthcare included CEO, Russell Brown and Regional Director, Martin Vanhinsbergh.

The celebrations also included long service presentations and some special mentions to residents who have lived at the service since it opened.

Maitland Park’s Home Manager, Benjamin Oni , commented: “Staff, residents and our special guests have enjoyed a lovely afternoon to celebrating a decade of providing care here in Camden. I am proud of my amazing team here who work hard to ensure that we provide a high standard of care for those that live here and peace of mind for their loved ones.”
