Maes-y-Dderwen

Maes-y-dderwen residents and team enjoyed a visit from 'Animals Interactive'.
We got to hold and pet a snake, a skunk, meerkat, owls, guinea pigs, lizards & more!
These lovely animals are used as therapy pets and definitely liked a cuddle with our residents.
We all loved this experience and learning about all of the different animals, we hope to see them again in the future!

Adam from Aneurin Leisure Trust has attended Maes-y-dderwen for the second time to collect items to take to local food bank to help support struggling families within our community.

These items were donated by one of the service users in the service, who has been supported by staff to declutter and clear out some items. This is the second time the resident has displayed this act of kindness
