Market Lodge in Ledbury, which specialises in acquired brain injury services, has secured the prestigious Headway Approved Provider accreditation for the third year.
Headway, recognises Shaw healthcare’s Market Lodge as a leading provider of specialist care for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI).
Market Lodge provides residential care and transitional living for adults aged 18 to 65 who have received an acquired brain injury. Shaw healthcare works with individuals to develop ‘Person Centred’ care plans which focus specifically on the needs of the individual to ensure they receive the right level of support and include a range of treatments, including physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, group therapy and sensory rooms.
The Approved Provider scheme was developed by brain injury association Headway as a way of evaluating standards of ABI care and facilities. To gain Approved Provider status, units must demonstrate their provision of appropriate specialist care across a number of domains, including communication, culture, recreation and training.
