Huge congratulations must go to Joan Spicer and her staff team at Ashfield House in Raunds who organisied a Winter Wonderland Market.

The market/fete was held to welcome the festive season offering residents and their families the chance to stock up on goodies for the fast approaching festive season. Staff & residents dressed for the occasion and the street area had an array of stalls from festive chocolates,  tombolas to a Christmas hamper raffle, guess the snowman’s name, sales of jams & preserves (labels made by residents) and cakes and other goodies. There were also some local shopkeepers who brought in Christmas cards & paper to sell to residents and their families plus jewellery and books etc.

And of course, a winter wonderland wouldn't be complete without Santa in his grotto which was set up in the Garden room - courtesy of Steve, the handyman. 

Very well done Joan, your staff team are a credit to your excellent management skills.
