Our staff engagement lead at Sycamore Lodge Sarah, has developed a monthly International Culture Celebration day. With over 100 staff, we have a range of different cultures across the team and wanted to offer people the opportunity to celebrate and share their culture with the wider team.
First up we celebrated Romanian culture, our wonderful Romanian staff prepared a feast and hosted our very first event. Dishes such as sarmale, salata de boeuf, mici, fasole cu afumatura, cozonac, cornulete and turta dulce were enjoyed by the whole team.
We had a fantastic afternoon celebrating Romanian culture and plan to continue with monthly events. Next up in October is a culture day hosted by some of our staff from India, Portugal and Albania.
