  • Service Manager

It was while on holiday with her family Shelly heard about a Deputy Manager’s position at one of the Shaw care homes.  Shelly’s daughter said, “Mum, you have always told me that sometimes you need five minutes of braveness”. So taking her own advice Shelly applied and it was only a matter of months before Shelly was promoted to service manager.

  • Shelly says

Shelly says: “I have developed and progressed so much at Shaw and yes, that is down to my determination but also the support I have had from the staff and mangers and the training which has given me these opportunities. For anyone wanting to work in care, there are so many roles and each one you will have support.”
