A service user at Thorndale has reached a milestone at the age of 100.
Gwen Lewis has been having a wonderful time celebrating her 100th birthday.
Residents, friends, family and staff came together to send best wishes to the birthday girl as she reached the milestone age of 100. Thorndale organised a special social gathering, incorporating a fabulous birthday cake and balloons to celebrate. Everyone at Thorndale enjoyed the party with the wonderful entertainment by the singer, Barry Noble.
Memories were made as everyone enjoyed the party as well as welcoming a visit from a very special guest, the mayoress.
Gwen was honoured to receive the well deserved telegram from her majesty the Queen, to commemorate the very special milestone.
