ABI, otherwise known as Shaw healthcare’s specialist acquired brain injury service, provides high quality residential care and transition living for adults aged 18 – 65 who have an acquired brain injury either through direct or organic trauma.
Our ABI service meets the individuals requirements with supported living, nursing and re-ablement services, all of which are carried out in a post-acute setting and are also cost effective.
Here at Shaw Healthcare, we believe that each and every individual should aim to develop in their own personal manner, which is why we carry out regular assessments which help aid development of agreed and realistic achievements for each individual. These goals are reviewed regularly and form the basis of “Person Centred” planning. Person Centred planning determines the level of support of the individual, as well as specialist input and other resources the individual may need.
Here at Shaw, we offer clear care pathways to those who have a physical disability, therefore encouraging the individual to help achieve their potential through our structured community access model.
