The months of August and September saw residents at Market Lodge get active with G-Fitness, balloon tennis and boxing being a favourite amongst our residents.
We were able to meet Melody from Ohana Ponies, a gentle, sweet pony who delighted our residents. Melody was joined by Skye the dog who regularly visits us and provides many smiles.
PAT therapy dog Alfie joined us for a morning of fuss and treats. Alfie helps reduce our residents anxiety and improves their emotional well-being.
We made the most of a sunny October morning and ventured into our garden, admiring the pretty flowers and soaking up the sunshine.
Sunshine enjoyment didn’t end there, grocery shopping & coffees in town were also enjoyed.
Not to forget the game of chess which saw Allan teaching our support staff a thing or two about the game & winning of course!
We are now planning for a fun-filled Halloween, which will include our pumpkin carving competition.
