September has been a busy month at Ledbury Nursing Home!
We’ve held a Macmillan coffee morning and raised £59.30 Thankyou to residents, family and the team who came and supported this wonderful cause. It couldn’t go down without a little music from Darryl and our wonderful Kitchen staff who baked up beautiful cakes lots of lovely comments from residents family.
We’ve celebrated two birthdays Jessie who celebrated her 91st and Rita who celebrated her 96th. We’ve had music from the wonderful Helen celebrating 50’s 60’s and 70’s. Ray and Jack up on the dance floor showing their moves off!
We’ve started a reminiscence session which went down very well, it was wonderful to hear that the items we looked at took residents back to the past, full of good times and memories. Our residents love a good quiz too, we had a plant one this month. Bingo went down a treat as well.
Ohana ponies came to visit melody the pony and sky the dog put smiles and astonishment on residents faces as melody wore tiny pink shoes “so adorable”.
