We've been making the most of the beautiful sunshine here at Ledbury Nursing Home, spending time in the garden planting flowers and doing a spot of weeding. Residents also enjoyed a delightful themed food day, featuring classic fish and chips, complete with mushy peas, tartar sauce, and a squeeze of lemon. We've had the chance to explore our local community in Ledbury, visiting the library, churches, and even doing a bit of birthday shopping.
This week, it was a full house at Bingo! Residents had a wonderful time playing Prize Bingo, with the help of two local primary school pupils, Hannah and Mollie. Some residents remarked, “Wow, that takes me back,” as they reminisced about their own bingo days. We’re all looking forward to our Easter Bingo event!
We’ve been keeping active here at Ledbury Nursing Home with our regular exercise classes. Tom from G-Fitness brings his music and movement sessions, which are lots of fun and feel more like a dance than a workout. The benefits are incredible! Rachel from Fit and Fab also leads a popular chair Zumba class, keeping everyone motivated and engaged. Additionally, we’ve been enjoying some in-house ball games, where residents can come together for a friendly game of ping pong – great for hand-eye coordination!
