To mark Remembrance Day here at Ledbury Nursing Home we have had a remembrance service with the vicar Nicky Seabright. It was lovely to see our residents came together and what a special service it was. We also had war time songs with Colette which residents enjoyed a singalong to, it was an enjoyable afternoon for all. Sophie a student from John Masefield High School took it upon her self to crochet our home 19 beautiful poppies which we added to our remembrance display the comments were remarkable! Thankyou Sophie. Our residents played a big part in the display by painting poppies with water colours which looked absolutely amazing! Yesterday we had a movie afternoon, the movie was selected by our residents. The film shown on the big screen was The Great Escape.
