Care workers in London were recognised for their outstanding commitment at an awards ceremony, hosted at Wellesley Road Care Home in Camden.
The celebration brought together colleagues from Wellesley Road, Gospel Oak Court and Maitland Park Care Home to recognise employees who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and compassion in delivering high-quality care.
Guests included the newly appointed Mayor of Camden, Councillor Patricia Leman, Councillor Lorraine Revah, Councillor Marcus Boyland, Shaw healthcare Chief Financial Officer Gareth Morgan and Operations Director, Martin Vanhinsbergh.
In addition to the regional awards, the event recognised long-serving employees who have reached significant milestone anniversaries, celebrating their dedication and years of service to residents and colleagues. In total an impressive 210 combined years of service was celebrated.
Natasha Leslie, Locality Manager for Shaw healthcare, said: "The celebrations today were a wonderful opportunity to recognise the incredible dedication, kindness and professionalism our colleagues show every day. It was fantastic to celebrate their achievements together and thank them for the difference they make to the lives of the people we support."
The event embraced a vibrant carnival theme, with colourful decorations handmade by residents, creating a festive atmosphere that reflected the creativity and community spirit within the home. Entertainment was provided performer Jean Claude, who kept guests dancing with some classic reggae hits.
