Deerswood Lodge is a modern care facility made up of nine self-contained living units that are suitable for a wide range of care purposes, including dementia care, respite and residential care as well as specialising in physical disabilities and sensory impairments.
The home also boasts some special features such as a ‘wellness room’ which is an area for hairdressers, pampering, as well as somewhere for health professionals to meet with residents, a ‘happiness café’ which hosts coffee mornings and celebrations and also a ‘kindness room’ which provides residents and families with a home cinema experience and a link to the gardens.
Deerswood Lodge maintains strong links with the community are involved in many projects with the support of the ‘Friends of Deerswood Lodge’.
