Brushwood opened their door to the community with a lovely showcase of cake and hot beverage.
It was macmillan day and to show their support, the team got together to fundraise for cancer. This was a great opportunity to open the door, to the local community to meet the team and residence.
At the same time, the service was receiving a visit from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to have their inspection to register the service. Liam Scanlon, the Director of Compliance and Governance was also attending the open event, and delighted everyone by giving them a song.
It was a fantastic event and everyone praised the service.
The CQC, this October, has been in touch with Brushwood to give them the green light to open.
