Stuart House Specialist Care Home is located in Worcester, and is a specialist service offering 24 hour care to people with dual diagnosis, enduring mental health, learning disability and forensic backgrounds.
Stuart House consists of a total of five individual flats. Each resident is provided with individualised, evidence-based care packages, behavioural management programmes, therapeutic interventions, customised acidity programmes, skill teaching and specially trained staff.
The philosophy of Stuart House is that every resident should be fully supported to integrate with the local community, as well to take advantage of its social, recreational and educational opportunities. Activities always play an important part at Stuart House, so staff always support and organise a wide range of things to do both inside and outside the home. The activity schedule at Stuart House has been developed to both mentally and physically stimulate the residents. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic enjoyment and opportunities to be sociable.
