Located in beautiful Ross-on-Wye in south-east Herefordshire, Woodside Resource Centre provides fifteen care places seven days a week in its capacity as a Day Care Centre.
Highly experienced staff at Woodside provide its much-needed services to people who require support and care, tailored to meet their needs. Other community healthcare professionals also aid in the support based on the individual’s needs. The centre also has specially equipped bathrooms, along with other various special aids which enable the individual’s needs to be met within a safe and comfortable environment.
Placing emphasis on re-ablement of the individual is a key factor of Woodside, as well as encouraging people to regain some of the skills they may have lost either through illness, early stage dementia or social isolation. The Day Centre can also enable their carer to have a break for the day. Allowing carers to have a short break can make a great difference to both the carer and the individual, as it can help keep the individual out of long term care.
