  • Deputy Manager

In July 2021 the opportunity of a Deputy Manager at Thorndale in Kettering came up and Heidi was encouraged by colleagues and management to apply. As a deputy, Heidi was assisting her manager in leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care and ensuring all statutory and regulatory standards are met.  Heidi was not in the role long before she was successfully appointed as a registered service manager in the October of the same year passing her CQC registered manager interview in December.

  • Heidi Says

For anyone thinking of applying for a job at Shaw, Heidi says: “Do it! There are so many opportunities to develop a career in care and you will be supported throughout.  The roles are all so rewarding and knowing you are making a difference to the residents and enriching and enhancing their later years is what it is all about.  I love it.”
