We enjoyed a wonderful day at Elizabeth House celebrating the dedication and commitment of our team members, recognising staff who have achieved between 5 and 25 years of service.
We were delighted to welcome our local Mayor, Paul, who kindly helped present the long service awards. During his visit, he also took the time to meet and chat with our lovely resident, Vera, who was once the Mayor of Arundel. It was a very special moment for everyone.
The celebrations also included an extra special presentation for one of our residents, Tony, who was recognised for his incredible weight loss achievement. He was proudly presented with a certificate and, as promised, rewarded with a well-deserved cream cake to celebrate his success.
In the afternoon, everyone was entertained by the wonderful Alexis, who performed a selection of country songs that had residents, staff and guests singing along and thoroughly enjoying the occasion.
The day concluded with a fantastic buffet prepared by our Senior Chef, Rach, who also created a beautiful celebration cake for everyone to enjoy.
It was a truly memorable day, celebrating dedication, achievement and community, with plenty of smiles shared by all.
