Learning disabilities

Shaw healthcare’s services for individuals with learning disabilities are delivered as unique support packages which recognise people as individuals with unique needs. The concept of Person Centred Care is one that we strongly and passionately believe in. It places each individual, their family and carer at the centre of needs assessment which aims to identify real choices in delivery of needs led services.
Our services are structured to enable health and social care and support and community led activities embracing recreational, educational and work based opportunities.
We offer services to people with learning disabilities in a number of settings based on abilities and needs including:

• Care homes for adults and older people with varying levels of learning disabilities
• Care homes catering for dual diagnosis including mental health and physical disabilities
