Many older people whilst valuing their independence, often feel lonely and isolated in their own homes, unable to socialise regularly through physical disability or loss of mobility.

Shaw’s day care services provide welcome opportunities for companionship and making new friends whilst participating in a wide range of interesting social activities.

Our staff recognise and take into account that everyone has very different therapeutic, recreational, social, and leisure needs therefore activities are based around individual preferences.

Day care is an ideal way to improve or maintain life skills, give a welcome break to a carer and meet your own needs either daily or weekly.

Our Day Care Centres are usually open between 9a.m and 4 p.m.and transport to and from your own home is provided.
