Our NHS hospitals are under a great deal of pressure these days and so we work very closely with hospital discharge coordinators to enable people to convalesce in the homely environment of a Shaw care home or intermediate care unit before returning home following a period of illness, a medical procedure or invasive surgery. Anything from an overnight stay to up to six weeks with a team of trained nurses and carers on hand 24 hours a day. |
