How it works

A trained carer visits you at your own home at times agreed with you and helps you with the personal services you require. These may include helping you to dress and undress, wash, bath, as well as to prepare meals.

- You build a relationship with the regular carer(s) who visit you from which you both benefit.

- Your regular carers can learn to help you in just the ways and at the times that suit you both.

- You have the confidence of knowing that those carers are being continually supervised and trained.

- The service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC in England) by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) and the Scottish Care Commission in Scotland.
