Shaw healthcare (FM Services) Ltd has its background in providing FM services into its own healthcare facilities and as such we are a healthcare provider who has expanded into FM rather than and FM provider who has gone into healthcare.Shaw provides hard and soft FM services as set out in the following schedule :

• To Shaw’s own healthcare portfolio
• To the housing projects listed under “Housing Management and Support”
• To NHS healthcare facilities where care is not provided under stand alone FM contracts
• To PFI contracts as an FM sub-contractor listed under “PFI Experience”

• Policies and procedures relative to provision of catering, cleaning and laundry within care homes

Health & Safety

Health and safety specialists and a head of Risk Management who can advise of all aspects of health and safety within care homes.

Environmental Management System

A system comprised of a collection of management procedures which assess environmental factors into account at all levels of the Organisation’s operations.

The EMS endeavours to reduce the impact of human activity with a view to minimising environmental harm and nuisance along with legal liability.
