In addition to its core business of care provision, Shaw also provides Facilities Management (FM) services and has entered into partnerships with large development companies to provide ongoing FM services to their developments.

As an FM partner Shaw has:

• a track record in PFI and acceptance of PFI risks
• an understanding of Payment Mechanism
• FM experience within care facilities
• an established team set up to provide FM on a multi-site basis

Hard FM is delivered by:

Shaw's Property Services division which specialises in FM across multi-site and multi-tenanted schemes using:

• Specialist Contractors
• On-site handyman
• Regional surveyors

Soft FM is delivered by:

Directly employed site specific staff covering:

• Catering
• Cleaning
• Laundry

Shaw's Development Department are experienced in the project management and commissioning of many types of healthcare schemes for the NHS, Local Authorities and private clients from small homes in the community to multi million pound PFI and PPP projects.

We also manage the property maintenance of many facilities including cleaning, catering and laundry services.
