Surehaven, Glasgow is rapidly taking shape as the only private purpose built low secure psychiatric service in Lanarkshire and will be opening 17th May 2010 - subject to registration.

In September 2009, Ewan McLean (Director of Operations) set up office in temporary accommodation in Glasgow city centre and was joined by Kirstie Gordon, Senior Administrator in early October 2009.  Kirstie brings with her 13 years administrative and office management experience in both the public and private sector.

Both Ewan and Kirstie have been busy establishing relationships with key people within NHS Scotland and meetings are taking place to discuss/secure placement of patients in Surehaven - Glasgow.

Garry Walker joined the team on 25th January 2010 as Hospital Manager.  Garry brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in the mental health care field; having previously managed a service providing care and treatment to ex-service personnel with mental health issues.

It’s a very exciting and busy time for Surehaven Glasgow.
