A resident at Croft Meadow care home, Steyning, celebrated her 108th birthday with a party for all of the residents and staff.  Win Silverlock's two sons, aged 84 and 79, stood proudly by their mum's side as she blew out the candles on her cake - all 108 of them. Win was born the same year as the first ford car went into production and the Wright brothers took their maiden flight and has seen many things in her lifetime. Win doesn't have any secret for her long life but Activity Co-ordinator, Adam Judge, describes her as a real star. "She loves talking about her childhood and teenage years", said Adam.  "Win often describes her time growing up which has happy memories for her. She is given so much love here.  Happy birthday Win - what a life."
