The Famous words, “This is Your Life” were heard by the residents at Sandalwood Court, Corby.  Caring students from Oundle School have been working on a project involving life books for the residents who were delighted to have the finished articles presented to them.  Sandalwood Court was visited by groups of pupils for six weeks to compile the books with the help of the Home Manager, Paula Dutton.Families of the residents were also involved with the project by providing old photographs and information for the books.  Jane Harris, Marketing Co-ordinator, said, “The residents enjoyed the connection with the younger people so very much.  The children are hearing stories and learning things as well”.  Some of the residents found it quite emotional when they received their books and the pupils seemed to find it inspirational. The project is going to continue until every resident in the home as a book.
