Oundle Choral Society offered a delightful evenings entertainment for residents at Shaw healthcare Abbott House Care Home.

Maxine Padley the Chairperson, very kindly arranged for over 20 members of the society to attend the home and offer some songs to welcome the festive season.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the evening’s entertainment, with many joining in the songs. This is the second year running that the society have taken the time to come and entertain the residents.

The entertainment was followed by hot mulled wine and mince pies.

Abbott House is home to 40 elderly people in need of residential care, many of whom are local people.
