Following a two-hour inspection by the environmental health officer, which included a stringent interview with Joe Caine (Manager) and Trevor Kilburn (chef), Treetops Nursing Home has been awarded five stars for food hygiene – which puts them in the top 2% in the country!

Joe,said: “The environmental health officer paid the home an unannounced visit yesterday and audited our kitchens. He also spoke to us about policies, procedures, and training, as well as systems. He made observations about the physical aspects of the kitchen and general cleanliness".

“The award presentation will take place in July in the Guild Hall, Bristol, amid a blaze of publicity. Suffice to say only 2% of catering/eating establishments across the country ever qualify for such an award, so I’m very proud of our team.”
