Administrator - Care Home or Secure Hospital
What's Involved?
- You are, along with the Manager, at the centre of the home or hospital and a community of 40-100 staff and a number of residents.
- You are the face and voice of the home or hospital welcoming telephone and personal callers. The impression you make with help to create the impression they will have of the home or hospital and of Shaw.
- You will be able, after training, to make the professional lives of the managers and the care staff so much more effective by the efficiency with which you complete a wide range of computerised records and returns.
- You will also liaise and arrange appointments with GPs, Social Workers, family members and many others.
Pay Rates
Depends upon experience, size and location of home and range of services offered in the home: A home may have 10 beds or 90 beds.
Share Ownership

Qualifications
- Being a friendly, approachable person with good human skills.
- Good computer and keyboard skills or willingness to acquire these.
- Being a good organiser of your own and others time.
