Shaw healthcare Long Service Celebrations[ June 23, 2017 ]
Care staff from across the company were invited to a special lunch to commemorate significant anniversaries with company on the 21st June.
The awards were presented at a ceremony at the beautiful Stanton House Hotel in Swindon, which was organised to celebrate the dedication of its longer serving staff across the country. Shaw’s Deputy Chief Executive, Suzanne Hughes, and Chairman, Alun Thomas, attended the event to present the awards to the staff. CEO Jeremy Nixey was also in attendance but this year as a recipient – for his 40 years of service to the business.
Other staff who were recognised for 15 years of service at the event were Team Leader, Jane Eversham and Senior Support Worker, Ericia Davies who both work at Ledbury Community Health and Care centre, Service Manager at Stuart House, Amanda Willetts as well as Support Worker at Kent Lodge, Agatha Tsormetsri.
Service Manager of Sparrowfields, Emma Watts and her staff member, Support Worker, Tony Henry also received awards to mark 15 years employment at Shaw as did Locality Manager, Christelle Le Bray.
Marion Silke, Lead Quality Manager was also awarded for 15 years of service and Ian Rudge who is the IT Director based at the Head Office in Cardiff celebrates 30 years with the company.
Speaking at the event, Mr Thomas said: “The long service awards celebrate those staff who have dedicated their career to providing excellent care to residents in our homes across the country, so it was a real honour for me to be part of today’s celebration.
“While the event marked the achievement of this group of employees, I would like to commend the work of all of our members of staff, some of whom were unable to attend today.”
